In the woods around Chautauqua Lake, the sightings keep coming.

Since 2012, dozens of ordinary people across Chautauqua County have come forward with the same account — something large, upright, and unmistakable moving through the dense forest and deep gorges of western New York. More than forty-five have reached out. Many more have stayed quiet.

I Have Seen Bigfoot follows Peter Wiemer and a community of eyewitnesses, researchers, and legend hunters as they take the question seriously — gathering footprints, testimony, and the kind of evidence the experts keep saying can't exist. Featuring interviews with Bob Gimlin, Larry Battson, and Steve Kulls.

We wrote to New York State. The replies couldn't have been further apart — the wildlife bureau flatly denied the creature exists, while a state senator wrote in support of protecting Bigfoot's place in Chautauqua County. Read them yourself.
